"Stop hospital staff smoking in bus..."

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

What could be improved

The Royal Oldham Hospital management should not allow their staff wearing any part of their uniform to smoke and congregate in the nearby bus shelters on Rochdale Road.

The other morning I counted a dozen staff in them eating, drinking and smoking (some dropping cigarette butts on the pavement), staff should be made fully aware they are not smoking shelters, they are bus shelters for the travelling public.

I know many hospitals who forbid staff wearing any part of the uniform to smoke outside the premises or off duty as it reflects badly on the NHS - who are supposed to be campaigning for people to stop smoking.
