I have had to contact the surgery for both myself and my daughter recently. Both for urgent appointments and one of them 'immediate and necessary' as my daughter came home because she was so ill and was no longer a registered patient at the surgery.

Both times I was treated with great understanding and compassion, and I honestly felt that the staff could not have done more to help. They work under great stress and I was not made to feel that I was bothering them or a nuisance, I was, and am, very grateful for the understanding and care I received on these occasions. I do not use the GP if I can find an alternative way of treating myself or family, but it is so important and reassuring to know that, when you need help, the staff go out of their way. They deserve recognition for it.

The practice thanks the writer for taking the time to record their complimentary remarks which we have shared with our reception team and clinical staff. Whilst no organisation is perfect, at all times we do strive to provide the best possible service to the public and we aspire to the highest standards of care and service.
