What I liked
I was attending hospital for the first time, for a colonoscopy and was terrified. All the staff (nursing staff and consultant) were superb, kind, helpful and understanding throughout, making the whole experience possible to go through. I can't say that I would recommend the test, but if you do have to visit and have this test done, the staff are wonderful and from my viewpoint they all deserve gold stars.
What could be improved
The gross medicine/mixture you have to drink the evening before. I have never tasted anything so vile - is there no way to make it a little bit more palatable?
