On leaving the Royal Air Force in August 1975 I registered with what was ten known as "Bretton Health Centre" after renaming it ,it became Bretton Medical Centre (BMP)
As far as I can recall, it 3 GP's,, 1 nurse & 1 Receptionist. We were given the Patient Numbers of 817 & 818 (Surely after 41 years, we should be amongst the longest remainig
continuous patients.
The Practice now has rebuilt premises, more GP's and Nurse Practitioners, More Nurses, Receptionists and of course Professional Heath Care workers available to them. Besides a job Designated Prescriptions Clerk. What more can you want ?
Appointments may be made by a choice of methods. By using the Telephone Online Booking Service : By Phone to Receptionist : By using the System On Line internet Service (Note that you need to register with Reception for this)
Of course, with Government NHS Financial cutbacks, it is often unlikely to get a same day appointments for a routine appointment, however the receptionist will be there to assist.
The Receptionists can also assist in arranging Hospital Transport should you have to attend a NHS hospital.
In the 41 years that I have been attending BMP, I have been hospitalised on several occasions and on each of these occasions, BMP has provided excellent after care.
During the many years that I have been with BMP
I and my family have had unquestionably the very best of much needed support. If a gold medal was available, I would be the first to award on to Bretton Medical Practice.
"41 years of unblemished service"
