"The staffing needs to be improved on"

What I liked

The size of my own room and not having to share a room.

What could be improved

The amount of staff on and the equipment been in full working order as the lamps over the bed were nt working in the middle of the night we had to have the full light on these light s had been reported as not working since 2008 so why in all this time have nt they been repaired.

The unit was very understaffed i had very little help with breastfeeding and no one seemed to have the time for me.

Anything else?

the amount of staff on needs to be improved upon its not good enough to have one midwife per team or even 2 on any 1 shift.

it was definately a different experience to which i had with my first child in 2006 were staff were in there plenty and lots of support was on offer both before labour during and after.
