"Ignorant and rude nurse practitioner."

About: York Bridge Surgery

On a recent follow up appointment at York Bridge surgery for an ongoing painful neck and shoulder condition I was shown to a chair by the nurse practioner, When looking on their computer they said in a condescending manner that I had not been to the surgery with this complaint before.. I said you are mistaken and having a laugh, It appeared they were looking at a different patients notes on screen, did I get an apology?, No, just the usual look of distain for daring to bother this person who should be caring to patients instead of being abrupt with me when asking for my date of birth and name. They gave me a sarcastic reply, when I said Anthony with an H, they said it begins with an A. This is not the first time I have felt intimidated by this person, on another occasion when I was deeply worried about a number of moles on my torso, they made me feel I was wasting their time and proceeded to google moles and swivel their computer screen towards me , This is what you are looking for!, in a patronising tone of voice. I dread asking for an appointment at this surgery because of the likelyhood of being giving one with this member of staff, If they do not like or respect patients who are there because they are ill and worried, I suggest they are in the wrong vocation, and is dragging the reputation of your surgery down with them. I know of other patients who feel the same.
