As a first time Mum, the maternity/labour experience is daunting, and I wanted to give feedback (albeit late) on my experience. In the latter part of my pregnancy I was having 2 or 3 trips a week to DAU due to blood pressure issues and each time I was dealt with with such care, and was informed I couldn’t rate them highly enough. I was induced eventually, and ended up with a normal delivery with epidural. At all stages I felt informed of choices, and all the medical staff were absolute superstars. I will always be grateful for the end to end care from the Community Midwives through to the hospital care which I received throughout pregnancy through to post delivery.
