"This is a very special practice"

I have been a patient at this practice for near on 20 years, I was a patient that rarely visited my GP until 2010 when I became unwell, and since that time I have received 2 very rare diagnoses so now find myself at the practice on at least a monthly basis. Every time I visit I come away wondering how the NHS can attract such excellent dedicated staff.

Starting with the GP’s, I find all the GP’s at the practice compassionate, respectful and honest. I never feel as though I’m being hurried out the door during a consultation, the GP’s always take time to listen to me and carry out a thorough examination before coming to any diagnoses. I find the experience and wealth of knowledge of the team of GP’s very reassuring.

Nursing team, all I need to say is excellent. They are all a very friendly professional reassuring team who will always go out their way to try and accommodate the patient, even difficult ones like me.

Reception and clerical staff, once again what an excellent bunch. Always greeted with a smile and they will always go out their way to try and find the information I am asking for. I think this team deserve special thanks as they are the frontline of the practice in what must be a very difficult job at times.

Management, since January 2015 the Oak’s and the Park practice’s joined forces and became Cadbury Heath Healthcare. I think if you speak to management or any of the partners of the practice they will probably tell you there have been lots of challenges during the amalgamation of the two practice’s, however I am in the opinion that the management and partners have come through this process with a big A+ and I for one am a patient that is happy that the practice has such great leadership. Whether it be the old management or the new I have always found them to be approachable and extremely helpful, who are always striving to make CHHC an even better practice than the excellent one is currently is.

So in Summary just as the title says “this is a very special practice”
