I have been waiting on an appointment for a long time now to see a consultant about the nerve compression on v/brae 4'5'6'7' . Today is the second time that I have received a phone call on a Friday night asking me to turn up on a Saturday for an appointment my point is that the appointments at the new Glasgow hospital [I stay in Dumbarton and my hospital is the V. O. L. H. ]. I don't see why I, m being asked to travel that distance to Glasgow when my hospital is only 10 mins away from my home
My previous appointments have always been at the V. O. L. H. apart from when I went for my scan and that was at Clydebank I suffer from C. O. P. D. and have a heart condition so how am I expected to travel through Glasgow to the new hospital for a chat with the consultant without it affecting my health?
I've had this argument with the N. H. S before. the consultant I see is at the V. O. L. H. My next appointment at the V. O. L. H. was for the results from the scan, the scan that I had at Clydebank, so yes I'm angry and I mean angry that this problem still persists after me being through it all before. I'm loosing faith with the N. H. S Scotland and that's the truth
"Why I am being asked to travel to Glasgow?"
