"Disappointed"

For the first time ever I am disappointed with the surgery, they have changed the open access drop in clinic, I realise it is a hard task to inform everybody but I nearly went at 7am until I was told by a friend of the change! Surely a text informing patients would be suffice as we get various reminders by text to attend an appointment. Alternatively you are supposed to phone on the day for an appointment but In my experience so far you cannot get an appointment! How many days do they expect you to phone up for before getting an appointment? As I say never had a problem in the past so are the new systems not working??

Alternatively you can go to A&E but this is partly the reason people are over using the service and it is in the state it is! I have no doubt that the surgery is struggling with the pressures from the thousands of new houses to the area and they are unfortunately unable to not accept new patients, ridiculous as how do they cope!! My worry is too many patients and a very poorly patient is definitley at risk of serious harm! Not to mention the poor Doctors that are no doubt exhausted and over worked, that try their best and in my opinion are an excellent credit to the surgery!
