"Feel safety is at risk with access..."

About: The Whittington Hospital

What I liked

The issue this time is LACK of ACCESS for DISABLED if BLUE BADGE HOLDER TO PHARMACY

URODYNAMICS Archway Campus

Saves me having to go to A&E every 3 weeks where made to wait 5 hours each time to access medication after having monitoring appointmets cut. Usually can park outside in Blue badge space . Today 2 builders vans there taking space but tried parking across hill which wastoo far . It can take half an hour going up Archway Road getting held up in jam sto return to Archway.

What could be improved

Would like coordinated approach with research to my condition as feel research is being dooe for drug companies as same test every time & true medical facts not recorded. I have numbness & circulation problems today that is not what is written .Heart issues not addressed nor year of cardiac when hematuria found.Professors should be able to direct not refer back to GPs directed by LA/PCT rationing.

Today however the issue is PARKING & DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION so bad had to put on Fix My Street a public website due to noone wishing to address unfair PCN

FIX MY STREET

What is mentality of an LA Islington and a Hospital that allows its

disabled patients such poor access that the stress causes cardiac

arrest .Then there is nobody there that cares or wants to assist .

There is no chief Executive contactable & the PALS are downright rude

and nasty after untrue medical facts recorded.

There is no provision as the only provision given to one person then

the pharmacy deliberately delay . PALs said months ago the provision for parking

was the double yellow lines with one loading restriction but didn't say pharmacy would deliberately

delay so they could give you a PCN .

Anything else?

Where is the first place you will find most disabled people surely it is at a hospital? Is the system saying that we have no right to treatment till become acute? It has already taken monitoring appointments away . Something is very wrong if you are blocked from contacting those who make the decisions because they have a conflict of interest allowing themselves to be contracted in allowing themselves to be directed by accountants with no discretion .

Thank you for your feedback. Apologies that this was not responded to before, however the PALS and Complaints Department have only recently taken on responding to NHS Choices feedback.

Unfortunately there is very limited parking around the hospital. This is something which is out of the power of the hospital to change, however such concerns can be raised with the London Borough of Islington who manage all the parking around the hospital.
