What I liked
Worcester Hospital porvides an excellent maternity service. From our first scan at 6 weeks through to labour ward and postnatal care, all members of staff have been engaging and caring. We were treated with respect and offered choices about our care at every stage.
We had excellent one to one care from our midwife during labour and felt completely reassured by her clinical skills and professional and caring approach. The team worked well together and the midwifery team were well supported by their medical colleagues. Very accommodating to our families, and overall made bringing our new baby into the world an absolute dream.
What could be improved
Induction room could have been more homely and relaxing, but the labour room was spacious and comfortable, with ensuite facilities.
Anything else?
We have read and heard bad feedback about the maternity services at worcester. Through our multiple contacts with different maternity units throughout the Midlands this is one of the best - thoroughly reccommended.
"Outstanding."
