What could be improved
The access to this hospital is a nightmare. When they built the new hospital, the old number 21 bus stopped running so there is no longer a bus from the city centre. It is a trek to the number 11 or to the railway station. This is not a disability-friendly hospital unless you have a car. The maps on the hospital website just come up blank, except for a google map that doesn't show any details of bus stops. If you don't have a car and you're offered a choice of hospitals, don't pick this one.
I haven't commented on care. An elderly relative is due to have surgery there and with the best will in the world, I cannot find how to get there by public transport without a very long walk. I know the area because I studied there so I know how far it is from the railway station and the number 11 bus. There's the number 76, but it isn't any better.
"Inaccessible and too far to walk for..."
