"Totally pointless as the consultant..."

What I liked

Was seen quickly for hearing test by a person who put me at ease

What could be improved

Respect shown by the ENT consultant instead of basically accusing both myself and my GP of time wasting

Anything else?

I was treated by the consultant as if I was wasting his time,although I had been refered there by my GP.I was told that my hearing test and checks had come back normal so there was nothing wrong with my ear,but he would have a look if I wanted him to.I was told that he could see nothing wrong with my ear so I couldn't have the pain I was describing.To be told,'go home and take some pain killer and I'm sure that now you have been seen by us and told that there is nothing wrong with your ear,you will discover that the pain will soon go away'was totally unprofessional and rude.
