"Hospital Comment"

What I liked

This place is disgusting. My relative has been in this hospital 5 times this year and is elderly and my other relative died in this hospital.

I personally have witnessed patients being abused, maltreated and ignored.

I saw:

• nurses teasing a patient with alzheimer's disease

• nurses ignoring elderly vulnerable patients who had accidents

• patients desperate for the toilet and being ignored by nurses

I could go on but the site only allows people to type 2000 characters (probably they don't want you writing too much about how bad your experience actually is).

In fact if you're ignored by the staff you're lucky because it means they aren't bullying you or threatening you.

My relative will certainly never be going anywhere near this hell hole ever again I will make sure of that.

Please please please don't let your relatives anywhere near this place until the food improves significantly and they get in some nurses who actually care for people and are capable of human emotion and treating elderly people with respect.

You do have a choice and can refuse not to go in, it's only by doing this that something will be done about this place.

What could be improved

Get in a proper catering team to cook proper healthy meals

Clean the hospital (every single ward I went in stank of human excrement)
