What I liked

i was admitted to the day surgery unit at 13.00 on the 14th april 2011.i am pleased to say that i could not fault any of the hospital staff that i came into contact with,they were friendly,polite and very professional right from the time of my pre-op appointment up until the time i was discharged.i would appreciate it if my thanks could be passed on to all concerned.

What could be improved

did not enjoy walk from day surgery unit to the theatre. logo

I have taken onboard your feedback about walking to theatre and I will pass it onto the Operaional Manager of the unit.

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback and glad to hear overall it was a positive experience.

Patient feedback has demonstrated that overall patients find it more dignified to walk to theatre instead of lying in a bed being pushed by porters. In the unfortunate event that you have to come into hospital again in the future, if you mention to the staff that you don't like to walk to theatre, they should be able to accommodate your request to be taken to theatre in a bed or wheelchair.
