"Excellent care from Beckenham community nurses"

About: Bromley Healthcare / Tissue viability nursing

(as a relative),

My 84 year old housebound mother had a very large tumour removed from her leg and a failed skin graft, some months ago.

She was left with a large necrotic wound. The community nurses in Beckenham visited her regularly and due to their skill and dedication the wound is completely healed.

The Plastic surgeon extended her thanks to them for following her advice and dressing regimes. My mother said they were all extremely polite and kind when they visited her.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your feedback on Care Opinion.

The Community Team Nurses and the Tissue Viability Team will be delighted to read your comments regarding the care and treatment of your mother and we will of course ensure that the team see your comments.

It is always welcome to receive such positive feedback from clinical professionals like the Plastic Surgeon and thank you for passing her comments on.

It sounds as though your mother has had to endure a great deal with your support and what a wonderful result.

We wish both you and your mother all of the very best.

Julie
