What I liked
I am happy with every aspect of my medical care to date.
What could be improved
Invest in better secretarial staff or outsourcing for your letters.
The post appointment letters are an embarrassment. Every single I have ever received following an appointment has had several mistakes in it. They're painful to read. Test results given wrongly (even though only by a few points), the name of the condition or body part spelled incorrectly spelled incorrectly, dates for follow up test several months out from what I've been told. Worryingly, the consultant signs these letters off suggesting that they don't know or care that the information in the letter is wrong, or that they haven't bothered to read it and chekc it before signing it off.
The clinic letters are the only source of information that is given to my GP. For goodness sake make a little more effort with them. It is very very unprofessional for such a high calibre hospital to write such shoddy admin. They are embarassing to read, surely you can find better typists than the staff you currently pay.
"Good care but poor admin"
