I used the maternity services however due to complications i have had many visits to this hospital including a very worried trip to A n E Dec 2010, i suffered a late miscarriage earlier in the year and went to the hopsital with bleeding i was very anxious and upset and once i got through the initial reception at A n E i was treated well, and had a member of staff come and update me as to what was happening every 20 minutes which helped pass the time i felt very well treated which was a complete opposite to the services i got when i had to go to A n E at peterborough hospital!
Each scan i have been to ive been very anxious about and the sonographers took great care in reassuring me during the scan and talking me through everything one again excellent services there!
And due to a blood condition i have to have regular visits to the haemotology department, ( i have a needle phobia) and due to being very emotional the doctor was very reassuring about the fact i didnt need blood tests till after my pregnancy and he assured me that he would arrange me to have it done in a seperate room in order to keep me calm, this doctor was also very reassuring and friendly which was brilliant as a very emotional and worried pregnant lady, i am currently 26 weeks pregnant and only hope that i get treated just as well during my labour!
"Reassuring and friendly!"
