"Good"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

What I liked

I was concerned by previous adverse comments, which I found not to be true. I would not want anyone to be put off using this department's services by previous comments.

What could be improved

I was concerned that, as a patient coming in at short notice to take up a cancelled appointment, I had not been given an appointment letter or adequate information on the treatment about to be given. This was fully remedied on my arrival.

Anything else?

Only time will tell if the treatment has been successful but the care taken at the time was excellent and thorough. Having a student doctor present is a useful safeguard that all procedures are being properly followed.
