my partner is currently in Pinderfields and has been for the last 10 days after being admitted by out of hours GP. If we knew then what we know now we would have gone to any other hospital than this one. He has been moved 4 times, once resulting on them losing his medication. They have tried to give him the wrong medication numerous times. One time being woke at 2.30 am and left until 6.30 am as the nurse "needed to check" that it was wrong. Staff constantly say they will go and find out things if you querry anything but rarely come back to tell you what they have found out. He has asked twice in the last 24 hrs for the toilet to be cleaned in the bay he was last placed as it was covered in Feces and urine. he now goes and uses the public bathroom. We still dont have a clear diagnosis or treatment plan and no ones seems to be concerned about this! I have raised my concerns this morning with the hospital after finding out he slept in the day room last night but no body has acknowledged my concerns other than to say they would call me back that was at 09.30 this morning it is now midday. logo

"Real time" issues during an in patient episode are most appropriately addressed by the Ward management team. If this approach has failed, however, we would be pleased to formally investigated any concerns if the patient/carer would contact us on 01924 543687
