"medical treatment good, ripped off in..."

About: Freeman Hospital

What I liked

The staff in all departments visited on that day were friendly and mmade me feel at ease.

What could be improved

My appointment was at 9-40 in cardiology, my husband was to be admitted to a ward at 12md, we decided to go for some breakfast as we had left home early in the morning, I was astounded to discover the breakfast items were 75pence per item, the bacon was nothing special, the sausage was the cheap kind therefore a full pack would only cost 75p. Whilst I don't mind people making a profit this is a rip off, some people will be visiting for long hours, sick relatives, having travelled on public transport therefore unable to go anywhere else for a meal, I really do feel you should keep prices down for visitors to the freeman.

We are sorry to hear that you feel the quality and value for money of the breakfast served within our Chattery restaurant was not of the required standard. This comment has been forwarded to our catering manager to be followed up. Please be assured that the catering department do review menu choices and food quality and will take your criticism seriously.
