"Early Pregnancy Unit (Woodlands) disgraceful..."

Referred from gp to woodlands clinic on 24/01/2018. Greeted by the rudest,most unprofessional receptionist I have ever come across. She had a complete lack of consideration as to why people where there. Data protection/ confidentiality was non existent as my matter was loudly spread across the waiting room whilst speaking to another colleague rather than reading the letter/notes passed to her. Treated me as if I had just turned up out of the blue even though my gp had phoned first and they advised me to come down there and then. Another lady came in shortly after with the same circumstances and had been referred by gp. Receptionist managed to reduce her to tears by continuously asking irrelevant questions whilst telling her she knew nothing about her and asking why she was there, In a sensitive department like this and front face of a company as big as the NHS I don’t believe she is right for the role or may need extra training on people skills. I feel very sad to have experienced such apauling treatment and hope that others don’t have to go through the same.
