What I liked
When I last attended urology, as always the staff were absolutely brilliant, especially the nurses; treatment was pretty quick with very little waiting around and considering privacy issues was paramount.
What could be improved
However my consultant left and I am told has not yet been replaced. I should have had a follow up appointment 12 months later and now, another 8 months or so on, I am still waiting; haven't been moved to another consultant and still haven't got an appointment despite numerous phone calls. I got a letter saying that I hadn't turned up for my last appointment so would be discharged yet I was never given or sent and appointment date. It may have been mentioned a year before but who can find appointment dates after a full year? They don't send out reminders apparently. If that consultant still hasn't been replaced, surely it's well overdue to move his patients to someone else.
