"As a visiting friend I could not find..."

What I liked

I would like to express my comments as a friend of a patient who recently died in Ward 1.

He was on the ward for 10 days & finally put on the 'free list'. He & his visitors were treated with the greatest care, kindness & respect at all times & the nursing staff were wonderful, not forgetting the lovely people on the desk, who made us coffee.

I also extend my praise to the people who answer the phone, the WVS personnel & the cleaning staff, ( the hospital & toilets are very clean) & last but not least, the vicar.

I think the Minister of Health should visit Macclesfield to see how a hospital should be run.

Many thanks for making a sad time much easier.
