On arrival at hospital..a little bit of a hiccup when checking in as walked the wrong way and was directed back to the Checking in desk a bit confusing as its nowhere near the Day Case Unit .think its because the Day Case Unit is at the end of Ward 12...
But on arrival on Day Unit was met with friendly professional staff who directed me to a bed...very organised, clean and calm....very important when you are feeling anxious. I had a pre op assessment with the Dr, who explained what was going to happen...as i had been called to this appt.on Monday i was very anxious but relieved finally i was to receive treatment. Staff Nurse Sue was lovely and caring...felt i could ask her any questions and she was reassuring as, during the procedure i did feel pain a couple of times and i was reassured that the Dr. had hit the exact spot of pain/inflammation problem...so was able to treat the exact location...and already today i can lie on my right side for some time ...something i haven't been able to do in months/years!! Later in Discharge Lounge, I was treated to many cups of coffee and far too many biscuits...all the staff were professional, caring and very friendly....I think this was the Best Hospital Experience i have encountered in a few years and although it was further to travel, I would recommend this hospital for further procedures. 😍
"Excellent Care...."
