"Very stressful"

About: Wycombe Hospital

What could be improved

I have been really disappointed with my treatment at this section of the Wycombe hospital. Firstly I went for a test before xmas to be told that I had an infection. They could not give me a prescription for this but would send the notes to my Dr who would then write one up. This did not happen until two weeks later which I think is unacceptable. In the meantime I was worrying about the effects and ringing my GP every day who still had not received any correspondance.. Why can't they just write prescriptions there themselves and send a note to my GP? Would save a lot of time wasting!

I had another test at my Gp, the results came back as abnormal and I was referred for a colposcopy. Yesterday I went to hospital thinking this was what I was having but after waiting an hour and a half was told that my results were abnormal and I would have to make another appointment for a colposcopy. I had to take the afternoon off work to wait an hour and a half to find out something I alreay knew and took one minute to explain?! I have now had to reschedule the appointment and take a further afternoon off work in one months time. All in all this has been an extremely frustrating and upsetting experience.
