"staff brill but were x-ray is a disgrace"

About: Trafford General Hospital

What I liked

The doctor is just so very lovely, and one of the best doctors i have ever known. shes treated my mum with so much respect and compastion its so unbelieveable really. its a shame that someof the other nhs doctors arnt a quarter of the standard she is. nothing is too much trouble for

her. she is so lovely, and is an asset to your hospital.

What could be improved

my mother who is nearly 80 had an apointment at the clinic last week. firstly we were appalled that someone had called regarding her appointment to see that she would be attending, which i thought was a good idea. what they didnt say was that the clinic had been moved to the other side of the hospital!it was very distressing for my mum, as she later found out that shes got2 vertabra that have gone in her back and she has got erosion of her spine. she could hardly walk, and dr sent her for an x-ray!that was a joke. i ended up geting a wheelchair for her, and she was still in pain.can you please tell me why the x-ray is at the other end of the hospital, when you have a fracture and reumatoid clinc in the old gmsu building, its just crackers. i had to push my mum, and i too have fibro and am in great pain also. its a good job i took her and not my 82yr old dad, as they couldmt have coped at all. i implore you to please try to get somethingour done to help this problem, its not just my mum that is effected its most people, next your porters will be called upon more as people cannot get there. i know that they had x-ray dept in gmsu as i had my shoulder op there when it first opened.please look in to this matter.

regards.
