"Waiting time at easton ward emergancy assesment..."

Had been reffered by GP to attend at 9am to emergency asst unit easton ward... few people already waiting... anyway... due to pain was taken on ward to lie down... was seen by docter who was lovely but told that as this ward was not urology team would have to wait to see a registrar .... hours passed but told she in surgery... 5pm still no one but that she was out of thearte and trying to get round to see patients.... i fully understand how very busy this unit is... nurses are rushed of their feet and dont think its fair they should have to deal with so many people! Had to keep asking when is docter coming round? Told she on her own and still seeing people.... i totally get that but by 7pm and not once offered no tea or drinks and feeling so anxious completely felt very upset.... everyone works very hard.... but even told that people do have to wait longer in urologyt dept 11 hours does seem very long time.... when docter eventially came she was lovely and apologised but not fair on her to be epexted to see all these people on her own and worst that pateints waiting upto 11 hours!
