i would like to say a big thank you to all the staff who looked after me when I went in for my minor op. I can’t fault the care and how they made me feel very relaxed. The staff work so hard to ensure that the patients are well looked after and kept safe.
I was informed of decisions and when given drugs for the op and pain was explained how I might feel. The staff responded very quickly when I can round from my op in servere pain and the pain was back under control within 10 mins max.
When I need painkillers through the night staff were quick to respond and supported me when I needed help.
The whole experience of being in hospital has put my faith back into MKUH after my op being cancelled several times before christmas. Furthermore I would like to say PALS do listen to your concerns and I am so thankful to Gynaecology. Secretary’s for keeping me up to date and calling me to check if I was ok about being cancelled and I know at times I was not the most easier of people to deal with!!
However as patients and relatives we need to remember this time of year is a busy year for all NHS trusts and they are doing a fantastic job!!
Once again thank you and you all deserve a medal!!
