(as a service user),

I have been attending dermatology for investigations of a mark on my forehead since May. It was found to be a basal cell carcinoma. I attended day surgery today to have it removed. People are always quick to be negative about the NHS and Monklands hospital but I would like to say that every member of staff I have encountered especially today have been kind and caring.

This is a really good example of how we can make a difference to our patient’s experience. Caring, compassionate care is what we strive to deliver every day and to hear such positive feedback will be appreciated very much by the Dermatology staff.
