"Every staff member has been kind and caring"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Day Surgery University Hospital Monklands / Dermatology

(as a service user),

I have been attending dermatology for investigations of a mark on my forehead since May. It was found to be a basal cell carcinoma. I attended day surgery today to have it removed. People are always quick to be negative about the NHS and Monklands hospital but I would like to say that every member of staff I have encountered especially today have been kind and caring.

Dear mummy15

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comments on Care Opinion. This must have been a very worrying time for you and your family.

This is a really good example of how we can make a difference to our patient’s experience. Caring, compassionate care is what we strive to deliver every day and to hear such positive feedback will be appreciated very much by the Dermatology staff.

I will ensure your post is shared with the team as staff are very keen to have feedback to allow us to constantly improve our service.

Thank you again for your very kind posting and I wish you well.

Kindest Regards

Eileen
