What I liked
Not a lot to like
What could be improved
Pre-op consideration and care.
Anything else?
Admission to a ward was diabolical. I was in the admissions lounge for about 6/7 hours with no bed available. I was prepared for the operation in the admissions lounge and then walked in the white tockings, gown and dressing gown carrying my holdall to a ward. Not very dignified to walk through a hospital with visitors arriving and leaving.
Entirely alone in the admissions lounge so one can imagine how isolated this was and getting very uneasy about the situation. At one point I could have walked out and gone home because of the isolation.
"No after care. No doctor saw me after..."
