"Not informed of appointment in the first place"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

Got letter in post this am to tell me I had missed fracture clinic appointment two days previously!

Would have been good to have been informed that I had an appointment in first place!

No wonder clinics annoyed re patients not turning up, but please don’t, blame the patient if admin at fault.

Phoned clinic, nil appology, now have been given appointment

Admin, appointments please make sure you actually inform the patient re appointment
