What I liked

I have had MS for over 10 years and have been an out patient the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery for the past 6 years. In all those 6 years, I never once actually met my consultant, only his interns. Basically, I never saw the same person twice. In the past 2 years, my symptoms have been getting aggravated and I have been reporting this at every visit, and requesting an MRI to see if my MS is progressing. In every instance, my request was declined. I decided to take matters into my own hands and paid for an MRI privately through my teeth. It was discovered that I actually have Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus -- nothing to do with MS -- which we would have never found out without an MRI.
