"No appointments and quite rude"

About: Angel Medical Practice

Went there 2 times after work never had an appointment. First time had a tonsillitis could barely swallow my saliva and I was told that they didn't have any doctor available to go to another walk in. They gave me a list.Second time (yesterday) I started at my lunch time with blurred vision and then double vision. Went there straight after work I was told " if you were like this at your lunchtime why didn't you come earlier?"

I think it was quite rude I wasn't able to answer back And as soon as I walked the door I cried. Double vision was bad enough didn't need someone to treat me like that. If a person is not feeling well and you don't have appointments at least be sympathetic.

we are so sorry to read about your negative experience. Unfortunately, due to the way that the service has been commissioned we are limited to what we can offer. We only have 72 appointments available per day (46 during the weekends). Patients do not have the facility to pre-book or phone in for an appointment, therefore must arrive early to get seen. The reception team also go through a tough time as they have to 'turn away' lots of patients throughout the day once our quota has been allocated. Most of our appointments are allocated by 11am each morning.
