"If you have to be admitted to hospital..."

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

What I liked

My partner was admitted with pneumonia, but as well he has very severe dementia. As his partner and carer I was always welcomed and viewed as part of the team trying to return him to health. I was happy to fill in the "This is Me " form provided by the Alzheimer Society which helped all staff who came in contact with him to know how best to treat him. To find a hospital so dementia aware was very reassuring.

What could be improved

As nowhere is perfect I suspect there must be something, but from my two weeks as a visitor, all day and every day, I did not come across anything.

Anything else?

I wonder why Frimley Park Hospital is so good, when others are reportedly not so. Is it because it is a teaching hospital, a foundation trust, has army personnel on the staff or does it stem from the top?
