"The state of the front door speaks..."

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

What I liked

The staff on opthalmology are excellent and very efficient

What could be improved

I was shocked by the state of the front door and lobby area to the Medical Unit. The large wooden door is filthy, badly needs painting and is a disgraceful first view of many people visiting or working at the hospital.

The lobby was dirty and full of boxes and gave a dreadful first impression of the hospital. This is not something that can be blamed on cuts.

It would take no more that 10 mins to clean the door. The hygiene levels on the door are atrocious so it does not give one a secure feeling about the rest of the hospital.

What on earth is the management thinking of if they cannot keep one of their major entrances clean and tidy. Its a total disgrace and would make me very embarrassed if |I was taking any one to visit. It simply is not good enough
