"Fast & efficient assessment at A&E"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

On new year's day my mum attended A& E for a badly strained knee, she could hardly walk and her knee was swollen. Our visit including the wait was surprisingly just over an hour. Everyone we came across was very approachable & helpful. This included receptionist & domestic staff. The advanced physio she seen explained everything really well and reassured us both. Thanks and your help is appreciated.

Hello Nich90, I am so sorry to hear your poor Mum had to visit A&E, I hope she is recovering well. I look after the Domestic Team at Wishaw and your kind words will be passed onto the Domestic in that area and their Line Manager. It is always so good to hear positive things about Serco staff. We are very proud of working in University Wishaw Hospital. Thank you once again and kind thoughts to your Mum.

Dear Nich90

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the treatment your mother received whilst having to attend the Emergency Department here at University Hospital Wishaw. I indeed hope that your mothers injury is making a speedy recovery.

It is always nice to get positive feedback and I will ensure this will be shared across the Emergency team.

Thank you once again and Best Wishes

Faith
