We woke at 4 45 am to leave for Queen victoria hospital East Grinsted,it was very windy and heavy rain,we arrived at 6 40am,found main theatre recepetion,got signed in,i was told i might not be kept in over night even thoough a bed had been booked for me,a lovely staff nurse Amanda sorted me out,booked me in,and told me i will be staying over night,she was lovely,see the surgeon and his assistant which were lovely to,and the anaesthetist,at about 11am it was my turn to go down to theatre,i did explain my veins where no good to put canula in,after the third attempt i was sent to sleep,didnt feel too good when woken up,was sick a few times,recovery nurse lovely,after a while sent to Margret Duncombe ward,the staff where lovely,Health assistant Daisy was lovely,she done me lovely strawberry and icecream milkshakes,because of my over active bladder and being on a drip i kept needing to use the comode,as i didnt get my walking stick till about 6pm with my bag,night staff lovely too,assisted with tablets and milkshakes,at 9am the surgeon come back around and looked in my mouth as said all was fine,so i could ring my partner to come from chatham to come and get me,paper work sorted out before he arrived,no waiting around to be discharged,i waited 14 months to have these 7 teeth out,i would say without a doubt that this hospital is amazing,thank you to everyone
