"Would be nice to be able to get an appointment..."

The appointment system at this surgery is abysmal. If you manage to get through to the surgery on the phone you can rarely get to see the doctor you want to see therefore there is no continuity of care. It is virtually impossible to book a forward appointment, although you can book in advance to see the nurses.The calls are fielded when you eventually manage to get through and you have to discuss with the person on the end of the phone what your problem is. If you are lucky you may get an appointment for that day if not a doctor or somebody might call you back. We understand that people do not always keep their appointments but a lot of people work or have commitments in their life that necessitate forward booking appointments.
