"CT Scan Results"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

My chest x-ray @ Glenfield Hosp (9th Nov) showed an area of concern and I was refereed to LRI for a CT scan with contrast. This was arranged for 12th Dec and all the staff and facilities at LRI were superb. However it is now the 28th Dec and have just learned that the scan has only just been sent out for appraisal (and I am apparently an urgent case). So disappointing!.It is likely to take 2+ weeks before anything may be heard.

Dear Stephen, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Imaging Services and we would like to apologise for the delay in receiving the appraisal for your CT scan.

It would appear that you are in contact with the consultant/clinic however if you are not and would like to see if the scan results can be followed up, please contact our Patient Information Liaison Service (PILS) email: pils@uhl-tr.nhs.uk or Tel. 08081 788337 and they would be happy to investigate the matter for you.

Once again, we do apologise.

Kind regards, Communications Team, Leicester's Hospitals.
