What I liked

This really is an exceptional hospital. I spent 6 days in a surgical ward and the care was outstanding. I always had a named nurse on day and night shifts who was introduced to me. What struck me most is that all the staff worked as a team, from the cleaners to the surgeons. Patients' needs always came first and staff went out of their way to support patients and one another even when it was really busy.

What could be improved

The food could have been better but given NHS budgets I'm sure they did their best.FoodPatient careSurgeons
