What I liked
the staff worked hard to cure the patients
What could be improved
the ward was way too hot, and the floor dirty, with dust bunnies. The sheets on the bed next to mine had the same died blood on them for over a week without being changed.
Anything else?
MRSA killed my father there, following a sucessful colon cancer operation in April 1998.
The death certificate did not mention the MRSA, but instead said cardiac arrest.
To my mind that was simply a cover up to make the MRSA situation look better.
That was completely unforgivable, no member of my family will ever set foot in that place again.Cancer and tumoursCardiac arrestDeath and dyingCleanlinessTemperatureBedsCancer
"My father died of an MRSA infection..."
