What I liked

I have on the whole had fantastic service up until today.

What could be improved

I had some tests and was told the results would take 8-10 weeks to come by post. It is now 13 weeks so I phoned the consultant's secretary. She was quite abrupt and said they were in the consultant's 'trunk' ( I assume in-tray) but the consultant isn't in till Monday so can't help. It is only Wednesday today. I think it unfair to, firstly, keep a couple waiting so long for results that they are nervously waiting for and, secondly, to have so little compassion and understanding shown to you when you phone up. I am impatient to get these results but I think this is completely justified considering the circumstances. I understand that people are busy but a little compassion goes a long way. A shame really because up until now I couldn't have faulted the service I've received.ConsiderateServiceTelephoneConsultantsReception staff logo
