About: Good Hope Hospital

What could be improved

A&E involved a very long wait for a doctor with no information as to when/if a doctor would see me, after initial blood pressure etc by a nurse.

Staff on MAU should have had more consideration during night time hours. They made no attempt to speak to each other quietly or move around the ward quietly.

Whilst my treatment was fine, there were other patients who did not receive prompt or sympathetic attention.

The ward - I assume(hope!) a short stay unit - was crowded with some patients getting very little privacy and seeming to be situated in a corridor.

Anything else?

I will not willingly use Good Hope again

There was a poor elderly femail brought on to the male ward as there was no other space. She had little privacy.HypertensionAttentiveCommunicationConsiderateOpening hoursOvercrowdingPrivacyShort stay unitDoctorsCorridors
