I was invited for a follow up review to the Oldham Total Skin Service in the ICC.

I was unsure what the review was for as I had been to the clinic twice about different matters in the last 18 months.

The doctor was unsure also and when they worked it out, we had a quick conversation about the skin allergy I was experiencing. Also the results of bloods taken previously were not available, nor were there any notes made on the system about the outcome. Despite me being told all was ok by a receptionist at the time.

When I asked when they were looking for in relation to an skin allergy, in the bloods. The doctor was obviously unhappy to explain in any detail or simply didn't know. I wanted to know if there was a test for an exceptionally allergic reacting to dust mites. And anything else I could do to manage as there were other options on internet like machines to deter dust mites, other that weekly washing. She said yes that is the test I had.

I felt very unsure about whether the test had been done for that, as she was unwilling to go into any detail. The doctor seemed defensive, and like they just wanted to get home.

The doctor's manner was unacceptable manner and unprofessional. And the whole experience a waste of time.
