It is now a few weeks since I gave birth to my baby boy and after a difficult birth I only just feel well enough to put pen to paper.
I would like to start by thanking my midwife and her 2nd year student for the care and dignity you gave me and my partner (same sex relationship) whilst in labour ward. The student showed great skills and knowledge and will be a great asset when qualified.
Secondly I would like to thank labour ward's theatre team for their fantastic care even when I was contracting and wasn't at my best, they kept talking me through what was going to happen. I ended up with a baby coming out oblique so required forceps delivery and spinal and had a big blood loss.
Thank you to Mr Khan (General anaethatist) for being so friendly in a scary situation and getting me pain free! ! Thanks to Dr paul and Sant for delivering my baby safely.
And lastly thanks to m1 for the amazing aftercare. Nothing was too much trouble. Pain relief came within minutes of asking and any questions or queries were quickly answered.
Thanks to midwife Wendy for a very smiley face. You all really are worth your weight in gold.
