Anything else?
I waited over 3 months to be seen for a recent discovery of a Tarlov Cyst on my spine S3 region, I took along with me my MRI scan disk showing a very large cyst and no other abnormalities were seen in the scan, I was told to have another MRI and come back in 4 months to discuss 2nd scan result, I have spent the last 5 months reading and researching this condition and strongly felt that the surgeon didn't have a clue about this condition I felt I knew more than him about it and found it hard to get his attention, instead he kept throwing text book opinions at me that I already knew I felt I was being rushed through the appointment and wasn't given the opportunity to be heard, as I left I felt I had several unanswered questions and didn't get the chance to explain my bowel problems, I believe this hospital may well be good for well known brain issues but when it comes to special issues I strongly recommend you research and ask the surgeon what real hands on experiance he has about your condition ask him how many operations he has carried out on conditions like yours if he hasn't please go find another surgeon who understands your condition and has operated on the condition in question and isn't just throwing textbook comments at you I feel I have wasted the last 6 months but I know better now and am seeking to be re reffered to a surgeon who does have real hands on experiance with my conditionAppointmentsCystsAttentiveSurgeonsSurgery
