What I liked

Having had close freinds and relations in other local hospitals where general treatment was less than satifactory, I was pleasently supprised and impressed with Bedford South Wings quality of care.

My Mum, Dad and Partner have had various illnesses over last 3 years, all treated at Bedford. Some were urgent, one life threateningt, the others general everyday operations. Their diagnosis, treatment and after care was exceptional, Waiting times were minimal and communication between Dr's, patients and ward staff of a high quality.. Long term check ups have been booked in good time and are thorough on the day.

No supprise I requested treatment at Bedford for myself when the time came, even though Im closer to 3 other hospitals! My peticular session was more like meeting new friends than having to go through a small op' full of nerves.

Congratulations and best compliments to the Dr's, anesthetic teams and ward staff for working so well together and creating an amzing atmosphere.

The ward staff in particular make it seem that no reasonable request is too much hassle and go the extra mile to make ones stay as healing as possible. Im sure there are many others to thank working behind the scenes who support those in the limelight.

If all our NHS Hospitals wre run as well as Bedford, this country would be a much better place.
