What could be improved

My GP has referred me to this hospital on the 'two week' pathway. Over two weeks on from the referral I have heard nothing from the hospital, the person I need to speak to is never available, my messages are not returned, and my GP is also having no luck finding out what is going on.

This is causing me a great deal of unnecessary anxiety and I am very disappointed with this poor service. I am a lifelong defender of the NHS but for the first time feel totally let down.ReferralsService

We apologise both to you and to your GP - clearly this is not good enough and we will be taking it up with those who manage the two week pathway to make sure that other patients do not have a similar experience.
